Islamic Society of Delaware strongly condemns the senseless act of violence perpetrated against the worshipers at the Christchurch mosques, New Zealand. Our heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the victims and their family members. May Allah SWT grant them highest status in Jannah! Aameen!
We are also thankful to the outpouring of support from the various interfaith communities. We will continue to work with our neighbors and broader communities to combat hate.

The Islamic Society of Delaware joins our fellow Americans in condemning the horrific attack at Tree of Life synagogue in Pittsburgh, PA that has left at least 11 people confirmed dead and many more injured.
We share the grief and sorrow of the nation and offer our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed and injured in this monstrous attack.
No religious tradition can ever justify nor condone such ruthless and senseless acts of violence. In the eyes of God, every life is sacred and the attack on a single life is akin to an attack on all humanity. We stand with the victims of this senseless act of violence and mourn with the families of the victims and pray for their ease and comfort during this time of difficulty.
We support our law enforcement authorities and urge them to bring to justice those responsible for this act of terror.

The Islamic Society of Delaware joins our fellow Americans in condemning the horrific attack at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 14th that left 17 confirmed dead and more than 20 injured.
We share the grief and sorrow of the nation and offer our heartfelt condolences to the families and loved ones of all those killed and injured in this monstrous attack.
No religious tradition can ever justify nor condone such ruthless and senseless acts of violence. In the eyes of God, every life is sacred and the attack on a single life is akin to an attack on all humanity. We stand with the victims of this senseless act of violence and mourn with the families of the victims and pray for their ease and comfort during this time of difficulty.
We support our law enforcement and first responder community as they continue their efforts to keep us safe and we join our fellow Americans in asking our state and national legislators to act on common sense gun legislation to help prevent such tragic events in the future.

ISD condemns the terror attack on a Canadian mosque that killed six worshipers and wounded 17 others. We stand with the victims of this senseless act of violence and mourn with the families of the victims and pray for their ease and comfort during this time of difficulty.
We are working with law enforcement and taking extra security precautions in and around the Masjid. We ask that anyone from our community in Delaware who is effected by the recent travel ban or faces discrimination at work or school to contact us.

Muslims Community of Delaware is deeply saddened by the tragic incident at Mina on 10 of Dhul Hijjah, during which a large number of Hajj pilgrims lost their lives and several others suffered injuries.
