الحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله

Dear Respected Brothers and Sisters,
Assalam o ‘Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahe Wa Barakatuh

Our hearts are filled with gratitude!

First, I am grateful to Allah (SWT) for His abundant mercy and blessings for such a beautiful community, we are blessed to have you support ISD through good times and difficult times; and while Allah (SWT) made this a testing time for us, you have responded! With your generous giving, our Ramadan Fundraiser raised close to $230,000 in pledges/donations for ISD (our goal was $250,000), which ensures a bright future for Islam in Delaware and beyond, InShaa'Allah.

Despite these difficult circumstances, ISD is committed to its vision: To be a leader in providing Islamic guidance and services that contributes to the betterment of the Muslim community!

ISD could not do what it does without the generous support of important patrons like you. Your generosity is what enables us to deliver on this vision by supporting our transformative work. And for that, I am truly grateful.

I would also like to express my special gratitude to our beloved Imam Sheikh Abdelhadi for his tireless efforts in this blessed month and for his beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran along with our two young reciters, Mohsen and Yusuf. May Allah (SWT) bless them, reward them abundantly, protect and safeguard them from all harms.

My sincere and heartfelt appreciation goes out to all volunteers, all of the committee members, and the committee leads. It would have been impossible to put this fundraiser together without your tireless help and support. A special thank you goes out to our Ramadan Committee who made many sacrifices day and night and made many arrangements to make Taraweeh as comfortable as possible for everyone. I very grateful to everyone for their services to ISD.

May Almighty Allah (SWT) accept your Siyam, Qiyam, Ibadaat and reward you for your sacrifices and generosity and keep your entire family safe during these difficult times.

Shafiq Rahim
Servant of ISD Community for the pleasure of Allah (SWT)
