New Muslim Resources & Classes

We pray that Allah (All Praises to Him) blesses you on your new journey through life. Your focus on reaching this point in your life is proof of your quest to seeking knowledge of The Truth.

Living Islam Classes

For guests who are looking for in-depth engagement with Islam and the Muslim community, the Living Islam Classes are just for you. These classes are taught by ISD’s Imam and resident scholar, Shaykh Abdel Hadi Shehata, a graduate of Al Azhar University in Egypt.

Who is this for?

  • New Muslims
  • Non-Muslims interested in learning about Islam
  • Muslims engaged in dawah / outreach work
  • Muslims wishing to refresh their knowledge about Islamic beliefs and practices from a scholar

  • Beliefs (6 articles of faith)
  • Worship (5 pillars of Islam)
  • Morals and Manners
  • Family Life
SCHEDULE & REGISTRATION

Schedule: Classes are scheduled biweekly (twice a month) and are conducted in-person at ISD and online from 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM.

Registration: The classes are completely free, but registration is required to receive online links and class materials.
