Ramadan Starts Saturday, May 27
First Taraweeh Friday Night after Isha Prayers

Islamic Society of Delaware (ISD) wishes to inform you that based on ISD Moon Sighting Policy, our Imam Sheikh Addul-Hadi, has confirmed that the Moon for the holy month of Ramadan has not been sighted in Saudi Arabia on May 25th hence we will complete 30 days of Shaban and the first day of Ramadan will be Saturday, May 27, Insha'Allah. May Allah (SWT) bless all Muslims with the bounties of this holy month. Tarweeh prayers will start Friday night after Isha prayer. Iqama for Isha prayer will be at 10:05 p.m.

Taraweeh Prayers Arrangement: Brothers will be offering the prayers in the Multipurpose Hall and the old Hall. Sisters will be offering the prayers in the mezzanine floor, foyer area and a partitioned section in adjacent old Hall. There will also be a Mothers Prayer Room in IAD Building for mothers with small children. The above arrangement will allow the sisters to comfortably offer the Taraweeh Prayers.

Parking: Permission has been secured for parking at the German club for Taraweeh prayers. Please do not park at any private property and obey the Parking rules when parking at the German club, at the Masjid, or on Salem Church Road. Illegally, unsafely, or double parked cars may be towed at Owners’ expense.
