Dear Community Member,

Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatu,

Islamic Society of Delaware strongly condemns the senseless violence perpetrated against the US Missions and its officials abroad. Islam does not condone these types of dastardly acts. Our prayers goes to the families of the US Ambassador and other personnel who were killed in the violence in Libya.

ISD also condemns an online video distributed by anti-Islam hate groups that depicts our Prophet Muhammed (PBUH) in a profane manner. It does not reflect the core principles of the American society.

We pray that common sense prevails during these difficult times.
